LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Porting and Slide Cut Services

By purchasing, submitting parts for, or otherwise authorizing porting, slide cuts, or machining services from Bryant Ballistic Systems, the customer (“Client”) acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

The Client understands that porting, slide cuts, and other machining services permanently alter firearm components. Such modifications may affect the performance, handling, cycling characteristics, recoil impulse, sound, flash, accuracy, longevity, and overall behavior of the firearm.

The Client voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with these services and the use of any modified components.

2. No Guarantee of Performance

Bryant Ballistic Systems makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Accuracy
  • Recoil reduction
  • Reliability
  • Cycling behavior
  • Compatibility with specific ammunition
  • Suitability for any particular use

Results may vary based on platform, ammunition, configuration, and user operation.

3. Customer Responsibility

The Client represents and warrants that:

  • They are the lawful owner of the submitted components, or authorized to submit them.
  • All submitted parts are legal to own and modify in their jurisdiction.
  • Submitted components are unloaded and safe prior to shipment.
  • The Client is responsible for verifying compatibility with their firearm, ammunition, and intended use.

Bryant Ballistic Systems is not responsible for improper installation, reassembly, maintenance, or use after return.

4. Ammunition & Use Disclaimer

The Client acknowledges that modified components may behave differently depending on ammunition selection. The Client assumes responsibility for selecting appropriate ammunition and ensuring safe operation after modification.

5. Cosmetic Variations

Machining marks, tool paths, surface variations, and dimensional differences may be visible depending on the service performed and finishing option selected. Cosmetic appearance is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing.

6. No Liability for Downstream Issues

Bryant Ballistic Systems shall not be held liable for:

  • Damage to other firearm components
  • Malfunctions caused by external factors
  • Wear or failure occurring after return
  • Injury, death, or property damage arising from use or misuse

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bryant Ballistic Systems’ liability, if any, shall be limited solely to the amount paid for the specific service performed. Under no circumstances shall Bryant Ballistic Systems be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

8. Final Approval & Non-Refundable Services

Once machining begins, services are non-refundable. The Client understands that porting and slide cuts are permanent modifications.

9. Agreement & Acceptance

By completing checkout, submitting parts, or authorizing work, the Client confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to this waiver in full.
